Milburn Day: Lawrence of Arabia

The KPAC will honor the legacy of founder Milburn Kenworthy with a free screening of the classic film LAWRENCE OF ARABIA. Executive Director Colin Mannex will open the event with a brief history of KPAC. There will also be free popcorn courtesy of Milburn’s granddaughter, Kimberly Kenworthy Manaut!

The story of T.E. Lawrence, the English officer who successfully united and led the diverse, often warring, Arab tribes during World War I in order to fight the Turks. The epic of all epics, LAWRENCE OF ARABIA cements director David Lean’s status in the filmmaking pantheon with nearly four hours of grand scope, brilliant performances, and beautiful cinematography. This is a movie that demands to be seen on the big screen with a crowd!
