Moscow Film Society presents THE OUTSIDERS as part of their Crazy for Swayze community series, submitted and voted on by you! In a small Oklahoma town in 1964, the rivalry between two gangs, the poor Greasers and the rich Socs, heats up when one gang member accidentally kills a member of the other. Francis Ford Coppola’s stylistic adaptation of S.E. Hinton’s classic novel features the talents of Matt Dillon, Tom Cruise, Emilio Estevez, Diane Lane, Rob Lowe, Ralph Macchio, and, of course, Patrick Swayze. Screening will be The Outsiders: The Complete Novel version which feature 22 minutes of additional footage.
