On Saturday, October 19, 2024, join us for a screening of critically acclaimed documentary, “Medicine Man: The Stan Brock Story”, with two showings at 2:00 PM and 7:00 PM. This powerful film chronicles the life and legacy of Stan Brock, founder of Remote Area Medical (RAM), a nonprofit organization that delivers free healthcare services to underserved communities around the world.
The 2:00 PM screening will be followed by a panel discussion featuring the film’s director, key stakeholders, and healthcare professionals, providing a unique opportunity for the audience to engage in a conversation about the challenges of healthcare access, both globally and locally.
This event is brought to you by Snake River Community Clinic and North Idaho Area Health Education Center (AHEC), two organizations dedicated to expanding access to essential healthcare services in the region. Snake River Community Clinic, a nonprofit healthcare provider in Lewiston, has been serving low-income and uninsured individuals with critical medical, dental, and mental health services for years. By supporting this documentary screening, the clinic aims to raise awareness about the importance of affordable healthcare and mobilize community efforts to address local health disparities.
