KPAC presents THE TREASURE OF THE SIERRA MADRE as part of our new Cinema Classics series, featuring films chosen by our Classics Film Committee. Two down-on-their-luck Americans searching for work in 1920s Mexico convince an old prospector to help them mine for gold in the Sierra Madre Mountains. Remade but never duplicated, this darkly humorous morality tale represents John Huston and Humphrey Bogart at their finest.
